A change of ticketing software provider may require some configuration changes in order to save the cost of replacing your printer.  Some software providers are anxious to sell you a new printer when a configuration

change will be a less expensive option.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Any Boca printer model will be compatible with any ticketing software system as long as it is configured properly.

There are three different scenarios possible when converting a printer configuration.

 

  1. Change the printer language from FGL to PCL or from PCL to FGL - THE FEE FOR CHANGING THE LANGUAGE ONLY IS $250.00 PER PRINTER.  (We can work with you to make this change without sending the    printer to us.)

 

  2. Change the DPI from 200dpi to 300dpi or from 300dpi to 200 dpi - THE FEE FOR CHANGING THE DPI ONLY IS $250.00 FOR PARTS PLUS $150.00 FOR LABOR PER PRINTER.

 

  3. A combination of both changing the language and DPI - THE FEE FOR CHANGING BOTH THE LANGUAGE AND DPI IS $575.00 PER PRINTER.

 

Printers must be shipped to our location at owner’s expense.  Return shipping will be billed in addition to the fees listed above.  A $100.00 Printer Service Deposit must be paid prior to starting work on your printer.
